Ignorance

With a jar of jam and an old suitcase, Gichka the Cuckoo, is alone in the church bell tower. Her stories are maddeningly funny and in them the absurd lost world of a small village is glimpsed. Her stories are at the same time dark , because childish credulity does not see through evil, even when confronted with it. It is a tale of the loneliness of otherness, of living furiously in the grip of reason and of unconditional love. A life filled with wonders and memories gatheredin a matchbox.
